I know Jack wants the torque wrench for months. I secretly checked SNAP-ON website and think it will be perfect for his birthday gift. He looks so surprised when he unwrapped it. I know this tool will help him a lot for the bikes maintenance . Happy Birthday and enjoy the gift :)

Time flies. Jack is turning 32 this month. We went to a nice Italian restaurant for celebration. I know he is very happy and content with the food, our lives and everything around us. We got everything that we have ever dreamed of since we were 20. We are really lucky

It has been a while since we went out with Mr.W650 last time. The bad weather here is the one to blame. Last Sunday is a bright sunny day and we just rode on the road with the wind stoking on our faces. I am so in love with the freedom which the bikes bring to us. Nothing else can give me the same feelings....

New painted fuel tank of TU250 is finally finished. Jack made the final touch before assembling the tank back to where it belongs. "S" and "Caution" stickers are bought from Suzuki Japan. Now this boy looks so pretty and can finally fit in our family very well.

It's all about Italian coffee

Since coming back from Italy, we cant forget the taste of Italian coffee. Salvatore papa is very helpful. He has showed us some nice machines and gave us his suggestion, based on his 50-year experiences. When we are going to buy it, my daddy just gave us this GAGGIA machine as a gift. Wow.....It is exactly what we want. I am sooooo touched....

Now Jack and I will drink Cappuccino or Latte every night after dinner, thinking of Salvatore papa, Mercede mama and those time we spent with them:)

Autumn is coming

Hello, there

Mitty ran away from our house after 5-day stay. I was kind of sad and wished I could see her again. However, I know it is her choice and we wont force her to stay in our house.

Another black cat came to our garden almost the same day when Mitty was gone. Blackie is very sweet and she quite makes herself at home in our garden. She often lies there and watch Jack maintain his bikes. I really love cats and I think I have become the one whom they called "the cat-person".

Dont worry, Mitty. You are our family now and we will take good care of you till the day you die.
She has stayed in our garden since this Feb. We made a small house for her and feed her every day. We never think of bringing her into our house since she seems quite free and happy outside. However, as she grew up, we found out she has difficulties to fit in the real world. She was bullied by other cats and sometimes comes here with big and deep wounds. She became more intense and nervous than we first saw her. At that point, Jack and I decided to take her to our house. To catch a cat is definitely hard work. Jack was hurt by her and I need to rush him to see a doctor last Sat evening.

But it was paid off. Now she is coming home with us and we decided to call her "Mitty" (Cuz she looks like she has 4 white mittens on her feet). She still looks terrified and very jumpy. I know under our good care, she will be fine very soon:)

Mitty, you know we love you very much and you deserve the second chance.

I just watched "The boat that rocked" recently, which was 2009 British comedy film. Honestly, the storyline is weak but the music they chose are very good. I cant emphasize enough how much I love the 60's music- the Beatles, the who, Dusty Springfield, Jimi Hendrix and so on. Maybe I wont suggest this movie, but the soundtrack is brilliant

Chemical Brothers @ Taipei

Maybe someone heard our wishes. Jack and I have been talking about when Chemical Brothers will come to Taipei. The final and last plan is we might go to London or other countries to attend their gig. However, they are really here in Taipei. It is like a dream come true. Everyone is so high and they are going to explode anytime. I secretly looked at Jack's face and he was smiling for the whole 1.5 hrs. I know he is very happy and content since he is finally here with Chemical Brothers.

Goodbye, Mr.Fatty

Mr Fatty, the cat of our friend, passed away 2 weeks ago. It was so sudden that we are still unable to accept it. He brought us a lot of happiness. We are very upset but I know he has become an angel now. Mr.Fatty flies in paradise!!

WuHan, China

In the middle of July, I went to China to visit my dad. He used to spend few months there every year. WuHan is also my dad's hometown. He moved to Taiwan during the civil war 60 years ago.

I haven't gone to Wuhan for 6 years and there are a lot of changes there, which also surprised me in many way--A lot of new building, new Metro lines and the living standard is getting better.

Daddy took me to an old temple which was built hundreds years ago. It is very peaceful and I really enjoy the time with daddy:)
