Another hot day with Mr.W650

We love sunny days but the summer here is killing us....Burning and humid...
However, it is very difficult to say no to Jack when he asked me to join W650 riding trip!!

Made In Taiwan!!

Tatung=Taiwan. It is the ingrained idea among Taiwanese. I remember my dad bought a Tatung rice cooker when I was 2. The quality is so good that it wasnt broken till I was 12. Every Taiwanese family has Tatung rice cooker and desk fan. My mom even sent the rice cooker to London when I studied there.

Right now this vintage fan becomes the most stylish and classic item. Jack is very happy to have this fan. He always told me his dad had the same one when he was little. Hmm...maybe we are getting old cuz we are talking about our childhood stories quite often....

After Colin left BBC radio one, I'm kind of losing something in my life. I don't know where I could get the good music information from, especially drum'n'bass and Indie Rock. Thankfully, I still have different sources to get them. There are 3 albums I am listening to recently. Go get them and enjoy it!!!

KAWASAKI W650
Jack is very obsessed with the "lower" handlebar. He ordered the handlebars from Japan and started his non-stop disassembly /assembly work from KAWASAKI W650 to YAMAHA SR150.

He used to told me that he loves the "almost flat" look and the riding position it creates will set him free. hahaha....It is kind of abstract but I do love their final look now.

P.S. There is a song called "Handlebars" by the Flobots. Everytime I listen to this song, it will remind me of Jack's obession.

Tabby is my lucky star!!

Tabby is a one-month old cat. We found her 2 weeks ago when we walked our dog. She was sick with eyes infection and her body was covered with blood. We took her to the doctor and now she is a pretty little girl. She is so funny and could catch all the mosquitoes in our little garden. Mr. B doesn't seems to like her because he thinks she steals all attention from us.
