2011 resolution
Time passes so fast! Another year just arrived quietly without any notice. I had a very busy year in 2010 and can't wait for Chinese New Year holiday coming ! Also, I got to thinking about my 2011 plans and what I hope to achieve.
Here is my 2011 resolution.....very few and simple
1. Re-start my Spanish and flower arrangement class in April.
2. Laugh and spend more quality time with freinds and family.
3. Closet clean...every season. A clean closet means Happiness.
4. Eat healthily and exercise.
5. Spend less and save more
What are your resolutions for 2011?

Winter tune
Sia- Lady Croissant
I konw this album was released few years ago but I just knew Sia and her music recently. She has the most amazing voice that makes everyone else sound flat and colorless. This live version of her songs truly powerful and fabulous! With all of her songs like the classic, Destiny and Breathe Me, she sings beautifully, heartfelt and full of emotion and strength. I know I am going to check her other albums for sure.
Empire of the sun- Walking on a dream
It's not the new album, either. However, I have been constantly amazed at the depth of this album since picking it up last year. The production showcases the brilliants melodies perfectly. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were back in the Eighties, from Depeche Mode, Pet Shop boys, as well as Eighies-aping acts like La Roux, Little Boots and MGMT, to mention a few. Comprising just 10 tracks at a little over 43 minutes, it is shiny Electro Pop perfection.
Listening to this album, one feels as though "Walking on a dream".
Gorillaz- Plastic Beach
I was eagerly looking forward to the new Gorillaz album and its third and final studio album is an impressive feat on almost every front. This is a great progression to their last album and whilst the sound is familiar territory, it has moved on enough to keep things interesting. My favourite track easily has to be `Empire Ants'; this beautiful and peaceful song shows Plastic Beach at its most serene.

Sunny sunny Day!!!
Dont steal the carrot!!
We havent gone out with Mr.W650 for quite a long time. The weather is bad for the previous months-raining all day in the most weekends. Jack really protects his shining bike from getting rusted. We finally had a wonderful day-sunny & warm and decided to go to the mountain with our favorite bike. Although I am a totally city person, it's always great to get away the city once in a while. For me, it is kind of cleansing process!!

Happy Birthday to Jack!!
Clonetrooper is so cool...But I want Darth Vader watch badly
Jack's ORIS and Star wars watch!!
This year we decided not to spend too much money buying each other the birthday gifts. We prefer to save it for our future travel expense but agree the gift we buy must be cool and nice. To be honest, it did take me quite a lot of time to find the perfect one for Jack. My choice turns out to be the big success. Jack really loves it and cant wait to wear the clonetrooper watch :)

Long time no see!
Me & Sally
Yueh, me and Sally
They make a great couple
We finally scheduled to meet up after 4 months. Hanna has a new bf and other 2 have quite a lot of stories to tell. It's always great to meet up with old friends. After this dinner, Sally will go to Australia for 1 month and I will fly to China for 1-week work. So see you after New Year :D
P.S. My friend complained about my yellow tone pictures...hahaha...But I like this yellow and warm color. That is what I meant to show.....So let's call it "personal preference"

I'm impressed
Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse- Dark Night Of The Soul
Sparklehorse and Danger Mouse crafted a beautiful, saddening collection of songs that turned out to be Linkous' last work. It is one of the strongest releases this year. Those haunting songs will continue to imbed themselves into your soul more deeply each time you listen to. Such a shame this tremendous talent is no more. Rest in Peace, Mark.
Kasabian- The West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum
This is a really interesting album. Kasabian decided that they wanted to make a new album completely different from their previous records. This could be dangerous or smart, depending on the new sound they change to. But this album turned out to be quite the surprise. This concept album is like telling the story from the beginning to the end. Not once have I been tempted to skip over any songs (yeah, it do happen in most albums).

WOW!
He is a 9.5kg cat
He looks like the furry carpet!
"Are you mocking at me?"
We took Tabby to visit her new friends today. Basically, it is us who wants to see the legendary cat. He weights 9.5kg which is heavier than our muscled dachshund. Tabby seemed terrified by her huge friend and hid herself behind the sofa for the whole afternoon. But this cat is very cute and tender. Somehow he has his own sense of humor and we just cant help laughing

Is Autumn coming yet?
Jack said he could run better than I....OK, you won!!(I hate you)
They say Autumn has come but it is still very hot here. However, compared with the rainy city-London, I have nothing to complain.
We went to Taipei Fine Art museum on the Moon Festiveal, but Taipei Biennial exhibition this year is kind of disappointing! I hardly feel any connection with those artwork. I wish they could come up something new and creative for the following exhibition.
Are you comfortable there?

One day trip to Beitou, Taipei
It is almost the end of Summer. However, it is still hot and humid. My mates and I decided to give up our non-stop eating dates and start to explore Taipei---The city we live but have not really seen it all.
This time we went to Beitou, the north part of Taipei. There are some old Japanese buildings which were built during Japanese colonial period. I dont really want to live like Japanese, but I do admire their culture and those art form they created. I will definitely go there again for their famous hot spring!!
Viva Taiwan!!
When I studied in London, the first and the most questions I heard is "Are you Japanese?" Not so many people know my country. When I said "I am from Taiwan", most people were mistaken "Thailand" with "Taiwan". I don't blame them. After all, Japan and Thailand have their own international position and reputation.
The video was shot from some Malaysia tourists, who perfectly show the beauty of Taiwan. It's a small island but has such extraordinary vitality. Wish this video could let you know more about my country! :D
