Another Sunny day!!

Jack had the day off today so we went to YiLan(the northeast side of Taiwan) with Mr. KAWASAKI. It was a very nice day and we had a great time. I just hope the winter could get colder soon. We don't really have the proper winter in Taiwan these years due to global warming. I would like to wear those pretty and heavy sweater again!!

My hair stylist!!

People always say once you find a good hair stylist, you'd need to stick with him/her wherever he/she goes. I am lucky to find mine when I was 18. At that time, Lisa was just a junior hair stylist. Now she owns her hair salon in the central part of Taipei city. Now she is not only my hairstylist, but my friend and sister. Over these years, all her hard work wins her good reputation and lots of customers. I am very happy for her.

This time she dyed my hair light green. I really loves that colour. Thank you, Lisa!! :D

Jack's Birthday!

I secretly bought ACE CAFE LONDON T-shirt for Jack. Obviously, British people are very busy for their X'mas holiday. I finally got it from Japan and I am very impressed by Japanese service- polite and punctual.

Jack is making his own cafe racer slowly and he often told me that he would like to go to Ace Cafe in London one day. I know this is something important to him. Maybe we couldn't make time to London right now, I know we will definitely be there in the nearest future.

To be a true Motorcyclist!!

我還記得9年前我跟Jack大爺的第一次約會，他騎著SUZUKI 125SDR來找我，我立刻愛上了它那亮晶晶的排氣管和旁邊很像便當蓋的東西 (後來我才知道那是"空氣濾清器"的蓋子)。在那段大學的日子，我就跟著Jack大爺騎著它跑來跑去，我也因為Jack大爺的關係，慢慢愛上了機車，我喜歡跟著Jack大爺修車、騎車兜風，那是一種很幸福的感覺，似乎世界上只有我們兩人和車。

9年的時間過去，我從英國唸書回來，台灣開放進口重型機車，我和Jack結了婚，有了自己的家，但是唯一不變的是Jack大爺對機車的堅持和熱愛。一台車變成四台車，他終於買到了夢想的KAWASAKI W650，客廳多了放機車的車庫，125SDR也被重新整理被我們放在客廳好好的收藏著；每一台車對我們都有著太多的回憶。

許多關心我的好朋友總是跟我說, "你應該要Jack把機車賣掉，買個汽車，這樣比較舒服。夏天有冷氣吹，冬天可以遮風避雨。你現在還年輕，可以這樣坐機車，你年紀大還能這樣嗎?" 其實我也有想過這個問題，我記得我跟Jack大爺騎車去合歡山的時候，我的背和屁股痛到快肢解，每次超過一各半小時的旅程，會讓我腰痛到很難受。下大雨的時候，要全副武裝的穿上雨衣，如果又遇上冬天，根本冷各半死，更別提到達目的地脫下那堆雨衣的麻煩。夏天被大太陽曬出了一堆斑，大熱天加上旁邊公車跟汽車的廢氣，我都會很生氣的說，我再也不要跟你一起騎車了。但是當我真的坐上了汽車，我又覺得好難受，因為那是一個沒有互動的交通工具，我喜歡坐在機車上，那種自由自在的感覺。

我的英國朋友Peter曾經跟我說，一旦愛上了機車，就像身體裡的血液，是一輩子也擺脫不了的。Jack告訴我說那是一種人車合體的感覺。我知道我也有這種深刻的體會，我想要這樣陪著他一直騎下去!!

One of my addiction!!

Some women collect shoes; others collect bags. But I am addicted to the scarf. I have owned over 60 pieces of scarves with different materials, patterns and colors. I think it is always cool to use the little accessories to show your own personality.

Now I am waiting another scarf arrived. I know I am a bit crazy cuz' I only have one neck to wear those scarves...hahaha...But that is so-called addiction, isn't it?

2008 Taipei Biennial @ Taipei Fine Arts Museum

Jack and I always expect to see Taipei Biennial each year. Because it is the large-scale art exhibition which interfaces between contemporary art and the public.

The 2008 Biennial talks about the related issues arising from globalization as seen in Taiwan and internationally, such as Urban transformation, the situation of foreign labour forces, permanent conditions of war, ecological collapse, as well as opportunity for change. These issues are addressed through humourous approaches and DIY practices, which reflect the problems from different angles.

Therefore, the Biennial is not only an exhibition but a series of activities spread out in time. It could make you smile and laugh out loud, get you irritated or encourage your participation in, as well as tickle your curiosity.

Our Second Dog!!

We didn't expect that we will have the second dog that soon. But someone abandoned this cute dog in our neighborhood. We feed him quite often and let him stay in our garden when the strong typhoon came. Now he is like our loyal friend, watching our house when Jack and I go to work on weekdays. But Mr. B seems not very impressive about his arrival. I hope both of them will get on well very soon.

I Miss Jack!!

Jack was called back by the military for 5-day education training. This is the first time he is away from home since we get married. Our dog looks very sad. He sits in front of the door and waits for his daddy coming back.
I miss him so much. Our house seems very empty without him. Please come back soon with your cute smile :D

Evil Jack Loves Gargamel !!

I still remember that my Aunt from Birmingham gave me the whole set of walking Smurf when I was 6. At that time, my world only has black and white. I don't like bad guy Gargamel and his cat. I barely played them and they are quickly missing somewhere.

Recently those blue little men seem to be back to the market again. I bought some of them from Brussels last year. Of course, I cant find the same walking SMURF again:< and somehow I start to like Gargamel and his cat because of Jack. Gargamel is kind of cool actually and those blue little men are losing their appeal for me...

Last week I bought these 2 t-shirts. After that, Jack and I has one "LONG CONVERSATION" to discuss who should have GARGAMEL T-shirt. Finally, I have Brainy Nerd and he won his GARGAMEL :<

I Love BENDER!!

I started to watched this animated American sitcom "FUTURAMA" after Justin asked me to. Then I was totally hooked. Among those characters, the Robot "Bender" is the one I could relate to. He is cheeky and always has his own sense of humor. He is also a heavy drinking, cigar-smoking, egocentric and ill-tempered robot. Justin is right. I am now too addicted to Bender.....But you cant blame me, Bender just makes me laugh....

Simple Life; Great Happiness!!

Today is Chinese Valentine's Day!! Jack bought me my fave chocolate cake and Coffee. It is not something expensive but I am very touched. That is what I want for life- Simpleness, small surprise, and Great happiness.

P.S. Mr.B also has one big bone for Chinese Valentine's day. I doubt he appreciated us. Cuz he tried to annoy us with different moves- very typical Mr.B...hahahaha

Ahhhh.......We are all turning 30 next year!!!

It's always good to hang out with my uni mates and memorize those good old times. We all drifted apart after graduating from the uni. We are too eager to explore the real world....We are enthusiastic but also confused....trying hard to find the meaning of life.....We are young at that time....dare to try anything new....

We get back together these 2 years and try to have dinner together each month. Everyone seems so different but also the same....We just plan to travel together when we all turn 30 next year...I cant wait the day coming.......(not the age I am expecting though)
